Manufacturer and exporter websites
A website for a manufacturer or exporter
Industrial buyers want the specification, the data sheet and a quick way to ask for a price. I build manufacturer and exporter sites around those, and two live client sites show how.
What an industrial buyer looks for
Industrial buyers often arrive knowing what they need: a grade, a material, a standard, a quantity. They want to confirm quickly that you can supply it. A manufacturer’s site works when it answers these in order:
- Do you make or supply what I need? Clear categories and one page per product.
- Is it the right specification? Properties, grades, sizes and standards in a table that reads on a phone.
- Can I see the documents? A published data sheet, so the buyer does not have to ask for it.
- How do I ask for a price? A phone number and a WhatsApp link within one tap, on every page.
- Can you ship it where I am? Clear statements about the regions you supply, and for exporters, the markets, languages and documents involved.
Two live examples
I designed and built both of these and help manage them. Figures are counts of content from each site’s own sitemap on 9 October 2026. They show size and structure, not traffic, rankings or sales.
- Samrat Poly Resins (samratpolyresins.in): a resin manufacturer, English only. 302 URLs in the sitemap, 51 products each with a published data sheet, 40 application guides, and quotation, WhatsApp and phone routes.
- Samrat FRP Traders (samratfrptraders.com): an FRP materials trader, supplier and importer in Nepal, in Nepali and English. 676 URLs across two languages (338 each), 51 products in 9 categories, 62 application guides and a WhatsApp quotation route.
Both are client businesses and are shown as work examples. The Work page shows what each site contains and how it behaves on a phone.
What carries over to your site
- A category and product structure that matches how buyers search, not how the factory is organised.
- A product template with its own specification, applications and documents on each page. A page that repeats another with only the name changed does not help a buyer.
- Data sheets and catalogues published as documents people can open.
- Quotation routes on every page: call, WhatsApp and an enquiry form. See how a quote request should work.
- Fast pages on ordinary phones, because many buyers check on the move. Images that load fast explains the usual culprit.
- Another language when your buyers need it, treated as a full content project and not a button.
What is not part of a package
These two sites also have assistants and other tools that need a backend. Online payments, customer logins, price-on-request accounts, stock or ERP links and AI assistants are not included in any package unless they are agreed in your written proposal. Frontend, backend and what your site needs explains the difference in plain terms. If your business needs an online store with checkout, catalogue website or online store helps you decide before you spend.
What I need from you
Specifications, data sheets, photographs and the list of what you actually supply. These are facts about your products and only you can confirm them, so on a site like this the content takes longer to gather than the pages take to build. What to prepare before a website project lists it.
Packages
Essential is ₹19,999 for 20 to 30 pages and is frontend only. Growth is ₹24,999 for 70 to 100 pages and includes agreed SEO work and the first month. Complete is ₹34,999 for 100 to 200 pages with a broader SEO scope. Prices are one-time, in Indian rupees, excluding applicable taxes; domain, hosting and paid tools are separate. The pricing page is the full list. For the search side, see website design with SEO; for a general product site, see product catalogue websites.

Questions people ask
Do you have experience with industrial and B2B sites?
Yes. Samrat Poly Resins, a resin manufacturer, and Samrat FRP Traders, an FRP materials trader, are two live industrial sites I designed, built and help manage. Their counts are on the Work page. They show scale and structure, not ranking or sales results.
Can buyers request a quotation from the site?
Yes. A phone link, a WhatsApp link and an enquiry form that opens WhatsApp with the details filled in come with every package. Storing requests on a server, e-mailing them or connecting them to a stock or ERP system is backend work and would need to be agreed in your written proposal.
Can the site be in more than one language?
Yes. One of the sites above runs in Nepali and English. Each language is a full set of content that someone has to write and check, so it adds pages and time.
Do I need a website if I already sell through IndiaMART or a similar marketplace?
A marketplace listing and your own site do different jobs. The guide on own website or IndiaMART listing sets out the trade-offs without telling you to drop either.
Will the site rank for my products?
No one can promise that. Growth and Complete include agreed SEO work that makes the site easy to find and understand, and the first month after launch. Rankings depend on competition, content and time.
Which package suits a manufacturer?
It depends on the number of products and documents. A small range can fit Essential's 20 to 30 pages, which has no SEO. A range of 40 to 60 products with application pages usually needs Growth or Complete.
